Cattleman's Salad Dressing

Cattlemen's Steakhouse Copycat Recipe

1 clove garlic
8 ounces sour cream
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon horseradish
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 ounces extra sharp cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil

For the salad dressing – in a food processor, process clove of garlic until well minced. Add all remaining dressing ingredients except the olive oil. Process until fairly smooth, scraping down as needed. Add olive oil and process until smooth. Set aside.

Notes:  Cattlemen's is the ultimate western steakhouse surrounded by the largest US livestock trading center in Oklahoma City.  While it is not a chain restaurant, I felt the recipe worthy of posting to this site since the customers rave about the salad dressing there.
