Poppy Seed Dressing

Stock Yard Restaurant Recipe

1 1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons salt
2/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
2 cups vegetable oil
3 tablespoons poppy seeds

In a blender combine the first 5 ingredients and process them. Slowly add the oil and beat until thickened. Stir in the poppy seeds. Keeps up to two weeks in the refrigerator. Delicious over Fresh fruit or salad greens. Makes 3 1/2 cups.
